Since its inception in 2015, Polish initiative Basy Tropikalne has been at the forefront of promoting electronic and club music scenes of Latin America, Africa and their diasporas. Growing organically from the weekly radio show it has evolved into a netlabel and event series becoming a go-to source for the latest releases and most exciting artists - after all it was Basy Tropikalne that was one of the first European outlets to focus on genres (e.g. gqom, singeli, neoperreo) and producers (like Kelman Duran, Ela Minus, Gafacci) that went on to become worldwide sensations.
